Doug Robinson Consulting, a Mineral Exploration Service Provider

Doug Robinson Consulting (DRC) is a sole proprietor, mineral exploration and mining consultant performing a wide range of mineral and mine exploration projects in Northeastern Ontario and Northwestern Quebec. Prior to entering mineral exploration Doug worked fifteen years as mine geologist in various silver mines in the famous Cobalt (silver) Camp. Since that time he has focused on surface mineral exploration with emphasis on Gold Deposits and Narrow Silver Vein Deposits. Other activities include industrial minerals, nickel and base metal exploration.

Doug Robinson graduated from Haileybury School of Mines prior to completing an Honors Bachelor of Science in Geology at Queen’s University in Kingston. He is a registered professional Engineer in Ontario and qualified to prepare 43-101 reports.

DRC works in a niche environment; that spans grass roots exploration to running drill programs. These involve integrating geological mapping, mineralogy, geochemistry, geophysics into the project. This work has benefited from a broad knowledge base developed as a broad spectrum explorer.

DRC is also comfortable working with milling and mining personnel to foresee and contemplate solutions to mineralogical and geological issues that impact ore and mineral extraction. For example: By using DRC drill logs; an experienced mill operator will know the four separate mineral phases such as Cu, Zn-Pb, Co-Ag and pyrite-pyrrhotite mineralization cannot be separated during mining processes and work out a potential mill flow to separate the three ore phase and deal with the environmental issue and solutions to deal with the pyrite and pyrrhotite.

DRC performs old school-practical, applied exploration based on established prospecting techniques combined with modern technology such as 3-D geophysics such as IP.
